Businesses listed on ECF platform are subjected to thorough due diligence to ensure that the issuer has fulfilled the SC compliance and disclosure requirements. Once a campaign is listed on an ECF  platform, the company is now able to raise funds from the public. This is also of benefit to investors as the ECF platform has conducted the first line of due diligence. However, investors should conduct further assessment on the ECF campaign of  their interest prior to investing.
